AT&T Inc., which has signed deals to provide vehicle connectivity services for General Motors, Tesla and Volvo, has reached a similar agreement with an unnamed non-Asian global carmaker, Bloomberg News reports.

AT&T says its new partner will introduce wireless services within weeks in several markets, including China. Other partners plan to use the company's high-speed 4G LTE connectivity to deliver Internet radio, emergency reporting, navigation aids, stolen vehicle tracking and other produces to their customers' cars.

In January AT&T opened a facility in Atlanta to develop and showcase connectivity technology. It also unveiled a modular connectivity platform for vehicles called AT&T Drive, which it is marketing globally to carmakers.
