Uber Technologies Inc. has dropped 350 workers, describing the move as the last in a series of dismissals that now totals about 1,200 people.

About 70% of the cuts came in North America, according to the San Francisco-based ride-hailing service. Affected departments included food delivery and autonomous vehicle development.

Uber launched the cuts shortly before posting a record $5.2 billion lost in the second quarter. CEO Dara Khosrowshahi told analysts at the time that 2019 will be the company’s worst in financial terms. He didn’t say when the company expects to become profitable.

The company began a broad restructuring in June that combined its communications, marketing and policy groups. In July Uber began the layoffs by dismissing 400 of its 1,200 global marketing staff.
