Ford Motor Co. may eliminate as many as 550 jobs in the U.K. as part of a broader restructuring plan for the carmaker’s European operations, according to Bloomberg News.

The jobs will be in the company’s salaried, non-manufacturing staff in Britain, a source tells the news service. Ford announced in March that it intends to shrink its workforce in Germany by more than 5,000 fulltime and temporary positions.

Ford employs about 54,000 people in Europe, according to Bloomberg. The news service says the company plans to shed 350-400 jobs at its factory in Bridgend. Ford says it hasn’t yet determined how many positions will be affected in the U.K.
