Porsche AG CEO Oliver Blume says the company will launch the production version of its Mission E Cross Turismo electric concept vehicle by the end of 2020.

The Taycan Cross Turismo is expected to maintain most of the concept’s styling, but less pronounced fender vents and without hood-mounted fog lights. The Cross Turismo shares a platform with the upcoming Taycan sports car, which is expected to bow late this year or in early 2020.

Power will come from the same electric architecture used in the Taycan sedan, which generates 600 hp from two electric motors. Driving range is estimated at 500 km (310 miles) on the European cycle.

Porsche already has received 20,000 deposits for the $90,000 Taycan sedan. The Cross Turismo is expected to be priced slightly higher.
