Jaguar Land Rover Ltd. says it will stop operations for a week in England because of expected disruptions caused after the U.K. leaves the European Union on March 29.

The company will shutter three assembly plants and an engine factory in England between April 8 and 12. Like other carmakers in Britain, JLR expects import-export delays if an increasingly likely “hard” Brexit strips the U.K. of tariff-free trade with the EU.

Last November JLR trimmed engine and SUV production at two plants because of slumping sales in China and the reassignment of an SUV program to a new facility in Slovakia.
