General Motors Co. is preparing to recall 30,300 vans in the U.S.to fix a wiring issue that could set the headliner on fire.

The campaign involves 2016-2018 model Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana vans. Affected models are equipped with a manual, three-dial rear climate control module mounted on the ceiling at the front of the vehicle.

The module can overheat if an electrical short-circuit occurs while the control knob is set to maximum floor vent. GM says a control unit that doesn’t work could indicate a short-circuit condition.
