Gentex Hikes Outlook as Sales Rise
Gentex Corp. reports that its second-quarter revenue rose 3% to $469 million—even though vehicle auto output fell 8% worldwide—because of a richer product mix.

Gentex Corp. reports that its second-quarter revenue rose 3% to $469 million—even though vehicle auto output fell 8% worldwide—because of a richer product mix.
The Michigan-based supplier of self-dimming rearview mirrors says its pretax earnings for the period rose 1% to $130 million. Net income was flat at $109 million.
Gentex predicts it will outperform the industry by about 7% this year. The company now expects full-year revenue will be about $1.9 billion.
