Audi AG has added Washington, D.C., to its vehicle-to-infrastructure network in the U.S. that can interact with the company’s Traffic Light Information system.

The technology, which Audi launched in select U.S. models in 2016, informs drivers when a traffic light is about to change. Audi says the system can help improve traffic flow and reduce driver stress.

The system will be connected with 600 intersections in D.C. via a vehicle’s 4G LTE cellular connection. In specially equipped vehicles, a dashboard display will count down the seconds until a traffic light changes.

Las Vegas was the first city to be integrated into the system. The service also is available in Audi vehicles in Dallas, Denver, Houston, Portland and Arcadia and Palo Alto, Calif.
