Eaton’s eMobility Unit Targets Fast Growth

Eaton Corp.’s year-old eMobility business aims to hike annual sales of electrification products from $350 million in 2019 to $2 billion-$4 billion by 2030, says Scott Adams, who heads the unit’s sales and product strategy.

Eaton Corp.’s year-old eMobility business aims to hike annual sales of electrification products from $350 million in 2019 to $2 billion-$4 billion by 2030, says Scott Adams, who heads the unit’s sales and product strategy.

The group’s focus is on power electronics, power distribution and circuit protection and, on commercial side, electrified transmissions. Adams estimates Eaton eMobility products are found in about 40% of all EVs worldwide.
